Brussels Sprouts Chocolate Swap
How it's done
Your elf has pulled off a classic kitchen prank by swapping the wrappers of premium chocolates with Brussels sprouts. When the kids head to the kitchen, they will find the elf perched nearby with a box of chocolates that have been expertly disguised with chocolate-coated sprouts. This setup takes about five minutes to assemble and requires only a handful of Brussels sprouts and any spare chocolates you have on hand. If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
