Cube Shelf Beach Printable
How it's done
Transform one section of your cube shelf into a miniature tropical getaway for your scout elf. Place a printed beach background against the back wall and pour a small mound of brown sugar on the shelf to act as realistic sand. Your elf can lounge on a folded towel while enjoying the vacation view. Cleanup is incredibly simple because the sugar stays contained within the cubby and can be wiped away with a dry cloth. Why this works
Living-room scenes are the most photogenic. The Christmas tree, the couch, the mantel all frame the elf beautifully for the family photo you'll actually take (and maybe post). This mid-difficulty scene trades a little more setup time for a bigger 'wow' moment when your kids walk in.
Variations

If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
