Elf Domino's Pizza

How it's done

Your elf is taking a well-deserved break tonight by settling in for a slice of pizza right on the dining room table. You will need a small toy pizza slice and an empty pizza box to create the setup. Simply prop the lid open and place the elf comfortably next to their meal, perhaps adding a small paper receipt to make the scene look authentic. This setup takes less than two minutes to assemble and leaves zero cleanup for you in the morning. It is a simple and effective hit for children between the ages of three and ten. Pets in the house?

Should be fine around pets as long as you place it out of reach.

Why this works

Dining-room scenes own the breakfast reveal, kids are already sitting down to eat when they spot the elf holding court over the table. At difficulty 1, this scene is specifically designed to be set up in under two minutes. Busy nights are why this one exists.

Variations

If it doesn't go to plan

If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
