How it's done
Your elf has officially clocked in for the delivery shift, making this a perfect surprise for the morning entryway. You will stack a few small Amazon boxes near the door, labeling one with a paper sign that reads Elfazon Prime. Pose your elf standing next to the stack while holding a makeshift cardboard clipboard as if they are dropping off a package for the kids. This setup takes less than five minutes to assemble and leaves zero mess to clean up later. It is a quick win for busy parents, and the concept was Inspired by Ashlina Kaposta.
Should be fine around pets as long as you place it out of reach.
Why this works
Entryway scenes are high-traffic and time-flexible, the elf greets arrivals whether it's 7am breakfast or a 4pm return from school. Difficulty 2 means it uses items you already own and takes about five minutes, quick but visibly intentional.

- Bigger-kid twist: For an older crowd that sees through simple scenes, step up to Mission Impossible Elf Arrival , same room, cleverer setup.
If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
