Fridge Whipped Cream Surprise
How it's done
Position your elf on a middle shelf inside the refrigerator, ideally right next to the milk or juice so the kids spot them immediately. Place a small, playful dab of whipped cream on the elf nose to make it look like they just finished a midnight snack. This setup takes less than five minutes to execute and is perfect for children aged three to ten. Why this works

If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
