Mermaid Elf at the Beach
How it's done
Place your elf on a tray in the bedroom, lounging on a beach made of brown sugar. Your kids will find their visitor wearing a paper mermaid tail and resting under a tiny umbrella. This setup takes about fifteen minutes and works well for children up to age ten. Use a rimmed baking sheet to keep the sugar contained and off the carpet for easier cleanup. Why this works
