Oats Angel Maker
How it's done
Create a snowy scene on your kitchen counter by pouring a small circle of dry oats. Position your elf in the center, lying on their back with their arms and legs spread out to leave clear angel imprints in the grain. This setup takes less than five minutes to arrange and is perfect for younger children who enjoy seeing the elf interacting with breakfast staples. If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
