Paper Chain Countdown
How it's done
Your elf is busy constructing a miniature paper chain to help the kids visualize how many days remain until Christmas morning. You will find the elf perched on the living room shelf, holding a small pair of scissors and a strip of colored paper. It takes about fifteen minutes to cut and tape the loops together, making this a perfect task to finish after the kids go to bed. Why this works
Living-room scenes are the most photogenic. The Christmas tree, the couch, the mantel all frame the elf beautifully for the family photo you'll actually take (and maybe post). This mid-difficulty scene trades a little more setup time for a bigger 'wow' moment when your kids walk in.
