How it's done
Your elf is ready for a quick afternoon session of card trading by sitting cross-legged on the bedroom floor. Arrange a few of your child’s existing Pokemon figures and some trading cards in a small circle around the elf, placing a Pikachu toy directly in its lap. This setup takes less than five minutes to arrange and requires zero cleanup in the morning. It is a perfect choice for younger fans who love seeing their own toys involved. Why this works

If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
