Toasty Bread Cozy Wrap
How it's done
Place your elf snugly inside an open bag of sliced bread or resting against the side of the toaster. The kids will find their scout tucked away as if they are taking a warm nap among the slices. You only need a piece of bread and a toaster to set this up in under five minutes. Why this works
The kitchen is the first room most kids visit in the morning, for cereal, for milk, for the toaster. If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy"), the discovery is the point.
